Did You Ever Stop To Think?

Ok, so there are a few NT verses which would bring some support to the idea that God would confuse us with His own choice of words' simplicity on the odd occasion.

Here are a few examples:

1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (KJV)

And I could state that when people would say to each other as in the vernacular, "peace, man" or indeed "safe", as for idiom: so that they become "the in thing" to say to be received gladly, then that could well be an indicator of the approach of the end days.

And concerning the first beast in the Revelation:

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (KJV)

So, people will say "where or who is the beast?", "where do I find it as to fit the description in scripture?"

Now, nobody would willingly choose to worship their government, surely? Nothing could be more certainly a fake divinity than something so obviously put there by mere men, and absolutely most certainly not instituted by God, right?

As to "who is able to make war?", this is also an idiom, as every other internet site has a different "take" on the beast, and nearly all of them fail in stating the beast to be "unkillable" or "undefeated" until God personally deals with the "beast" Himself at the second coming.

Isn't that to give authority to the dragon that instituted the beast system (paradigm) rather than the beast itself which is a construction of men blind or (at worst) ignorant to the worldly difference between the dialectic and virtuous paradigms?

It most surely is to give the dragon worship! For if the beast can be defeated with a vote, it will never be ousted by a vote that gives it new life, right? That particular deadly wound is healed at the ballot box.

So to ask "who can make war" is to look to find the antidote to the mark; which everyone always searches for when they address the subject: they want to know how the mark will come, what form it will take and when it arrives so they can prepare and refuse it, decry it, bewail it and by resisting defeat it.

That is not what was meant at all!
